Connie Teetz has devoted 24 years of his life to the United States Air Force. He spent four years at the United States Air Force Academy and graduated in 1966. During his military career, Connie flew C-130s and 0-2As in Okinawa and Vietnam. He spent four years at Big Springs Air Force Base as a T-37 instructor pilot so he could pass along his knowledge and passion for flying to others. Connie retired in 1986 at Andrews Air Force Base as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of service to his country.
