Command and Staff positions (Squadron and Group Commander) 1958-1963. Senior Air Force Representative with U. S. Army 1963 to 1968. Command and Staff positions 1968-1969. South East Asia Conflict (Deputy Task Force Commander) 1969-1970. 23 Combat missions. Qualified and flew single and twin engine prop trainers, twin engine transport and bomber aircraft, 4 engine bomber and electronic aircraft as well as single engine jet aircraft.

    Medals and Awards: Received 26, the most notable of which are Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, US Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal with Silver Oak Leaf Cluster, US Air force Commendation Medal and US Army Commendation Medal.
