In Loving Memory of Harris P. Nikitas, June 30, 1919 - December 14, 2013
A young man from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Harris "Harry" served the United States Army Air Force during World War II as a pilot instructor, and during the Korean Conflict, where he was an Air Force aircraft commander in 344th Troop Carrier Squadron. As a USAF Captain he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1953. He retired from the Air Force Reserve on June 20, 1979.
