    Jack Hanton was a command pilot with 26 years of service with the USAF. He flew 50 combat missions during WW II in the P-38 with 210 combat hours. He destroyed 3 and damaged 2 enemy aircraft while flying with the 27th Fighter Squadron with the 1st Fighter Group in North Africa. Jack logged over 10,000 hours in military and civilian aircraft. Lt. Col. Hanton’s military awards include 2 DFC’s and 11 Air Medals. Jack’s staff experience was at the Wing, Numbered Air Force, and HQ USAF levels.
