    LtCol Robert W. Meacham “Bull” Command pilot served his country for over 20 years. During this period, he was stationed at 7 AFB’s flying 4 aircraft T-37, T-38, F-5 and F-15. As a Systems Program manager, Wright Patterson AFB, he developed the tactical ALE40/45 Countermeasures Systems and Munitions. While stationed as a fighter pilot at Bitburg AB, Germany, he was selected as Europe’s first William Tell Team Detachment Commander. He served as the 64th Aggressor Squadron ADO. As Deputy Commander of Operations for the 57FIS Iceland, orchestrated the highest number of peacetime intercepts, which led to the 57FIS receiving the Hughes Trophy. For his actions, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with 4 Oak leaf Clusters, AF Commendation Medal and outstanding unit Award.
