    Tom Hanton served in the USAF for 25 years. He flew a combat tour in the F-4 with the 366 TFW at Danang AB, Vietnam, logging 350 combat hours on 133 combat missions. Tom was a prisoner of war from 27 June 1972 until released on 28 March 1973. He also logged 150 hours in the F-105G Wild Weasel and was an initial instructor in the F-4G Advanced Wild Weasel. Tom had staff assignments at the Wing, Center, Air Division, and the Air Staff. Lt. Col. Hanton’s military awards and decorations include 2 DFC’s and 5 Air Medals plus 37 others. He served in Desert Storm as the J-3 (Air) for JTF Proven Force at Incirlick AB, Turkey.
