    Honored by:

    Ralph Nasch enlisted in the USAF after Pearl Harbor. He became a B-17 bomber pilot & flew 25 combat missions out of England earning the DFC. He became an Instructor Pilot in both the B-17 and the B-29 aircraft. In the Korean War he flew the B-29 Superfortress out of Okinawa over North Korea, completing 29 more combat missions. He graduated to the RB-36 Reconnaissance bomber and again becoming an Instructor Pilot. He completed 20years in the service as an Air Intelligence Officer and retired in June 1965 as a Lt. Colonel. One of his greatest experiences was meeting and talking to Charles Lindbergh in England in 1948.
