    Gerald White served as a United States Marine Corps Dive Bomber Pilot in the South Pacific during World War II. A decorated pilot, he flew the Dauntless and the SB2C Helldiver.
    After the war, Mr. White obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in Aeronautical Engineering. He later earned a Master’s of Science degree from Georgia tech. Over his career he worked for the Department of Defense and several aerospace companies.
    He also was the proud father of seven children and grandfather of sixteen.
