    Lt. Prinz served in WWII and was a pilot for the U.S. Army Air Corp. He died during a midair crash while doing flight exercises in Georgia along with three other enlisted men in May 1942.
    Lt. Prinz received his cadet training at Maxwell Field in Montgomery, Alabama. He was in primary training at Door Field, Arcadia, Florida, and took basic training at Shaw Field, Sumter, South Carolina.
    He was commissioned in April, 1942 and immediately became an instructor.
