Lewis Wilburn Holler, Jr. was born in 1922 in Statesville, NC. He was studying Pharmacy at North Carolina State when he was drafted in 1942. He joined the Air Corps and got his wings as a Navigator in 1943. He died in combat in 1944 over Yugoslavia. He was in the 15th Air Corps, 301st Bomber Group, flying a B-17.
