Albert H. Goot (born January 14, 1924) joined the Army Air Corps in November 1943. He attended OCS and was commission a second lieutenant in August, 1944. He left the military in January, 1945, to resume his schooling but returned to active duty in 1948. He graduated from flying school in 1951 and served in Japan flying support missions during the Korean Was. During his Air Force career, he flew many types of aircraft including the T-6, T-28, T-33, C-46, C-119, C-130, B-25 and B-47. He retired from the Air Force in 1965.
