Fredrick Seeger was born in Alexandria, VA in August 1954. He grew up in San Diego, CA and graduated from the US Military Academy in 1977. He was commissioned in the Infantry and served one tour in Germany in 1-52 Infantry. Upon returning he attended Flight School at Ft Rucker, AL, and graduated from Class 81-36 in 1982. LTC Seeger subsequently served in a variety of command and staff positions in Germany (2-227 AHB), Korea (55* Avn Co, JCIS), Ft Bragg (2-82 Avn), Ft Leavenworth (CALL, CAS3), and Ft Belvoir (AMSC). He graduated from the Infantry Officers Basic and Advanced Courses, CAS3, and the British Staff College (Camberley) in 1992. His aviation tours included two in Korea, one in Germany, and one at Ft Bragg, NC. He logged over 2500 hours in the TH-55, UH-1 H, and UH-60 helicopters.
