    LT.COL. GARLAND "GAR" W. FLETCHER USAF RETIRED. Gar was a true 3 War veteran.
    WW II (1945/46) Stationed in Tientsin, China -Marine Sgt. KOREA (1952) B-29 A/C commander flying missions over North
    Korea from Okinawa. VIET NAM (1967/68) B-52 A/C commander and Ops Officer flying "ARCLIGHT" missions over North Viet Nam from Guam and Utapao
    (1956/59) Stationed at Eglin AFB serving the Air Force Armament Center (AFAC) then with the Air Force Operational Test Center (AFOTC). Gar, while flying as a test pilot both in primary and support roles, contributed to solutions of some 300 test programs.
    (1964) Stationed with the 381st Strat. Missile Wing Gar was the Commander of the first Titan II instructor crew S-35.
    Gar was an Instructor and Standboard pilot for each of the following A/C, B-29, B-50, B-47, B-52,B-57 and B-66. He was not just a bomber pilot, he was "THE BOMBER PILOT".
