LTC Harold E. O’Leary entered the US Air Force Reserve as an Officer Training Cadet in l1954. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in December, 1954. Harold, known to family and friends as “Buzz”, served as a navigator on KC-97 and KC-135 refueling aircraft and was assigned to units in Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Goose Bay Labrador and Florida. During the Vietnam War, he served three tours, tow on Guam and one on Okinawa. Buzz retired after 20 years of service and became a college professor after earning a PhD in Finance.
