Enlisted USAAF Reserves 4 July 1942. Entered active duty in the Aviation Cadet Program 23 Feb 1943.
Graduated from advanced twin engine program 23 May 1944. B-24 Combat Training; 30 combat missions with 44th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force England Oct 44-May 45.
Returned to civilian life and college in 1947. Recalled May 1951 - Germany 52-55. Retired Nov 66 after ten years flying EC-121 including short tour in Vietnam in 65. Command Pilot with 7000 hrs. flying time including six Air Medals & eleven assorted ribbons.
