Kenneth Lloyd Sterne, born 02/02/1922 in Breckenridge, Texas, graduated high school in 1942 from Panhandle, Texas. Joined the USAAC in 1942, served with Eighth Air Force in England through 1945. Graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 1949. Joined the USAF in October, 1949, served 26 years until retirement in September, 1975. Total service with USAAC/USAF 30 1/2 years. Passed away 04/08/1981, buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in Texas. Involved with aircraft programs and Air Force activities, numerous certificates, citations, and medals.
