Honored by:
O. A. Campbell entered Army service December 12, 1942 as an aviation cadet. He served with the 15th Air Force in Italy from September 1944 until June 1945. He flew 25 sorties as a B-24 Liberator pilot. He served in Korea from June 1951 to May 1952 in communications with the 4th Fighter Interceptor Wing. He separated in July 1962 with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
