    Born 04/10/22, Died 10/07/84
    Entered the U.S. Army in 1942 and was assigned to the Army Signal Corp as an operator and repairman of communication facilities, Camp Phillips, Kansas.
    In 1943-1944, completed U.S. Army Air Force Navigation course and graduated as a Second Lieutenant.
    From 1944-1946, was assigned as a Radar Navigator on a B-29 and completed 30 combat bombing missions against the Empire of Japan.
    From 1946-1950, was a member of the USAF Reserve and was subsequently assigned as a Radar Navigator on a B-50. During this time, he served as Radar Ground School Instructor and Chief of Central Fire Control Gunnery System Section.
    From 1950-1953, while at Randolph AFB, Texas, he was Chief of the Radar Navigation Training Division.
    From 1953-1954, completed the High Speed Navigation Course at Mather AFB, California.
    From 1954-1961, while at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, was assigned as Chief Navigator Wing Standardization Division where he directed, monitored and controlled the Wing Bombing and Navigation Standardization Program of a B-47 wing.
    From 1961-1962, attended Air Force University, Maxwell AFB, Alabama, and completed the Command and Staff Officers course.
    From 1962 until his retirement in August of 1967, was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and assigned as Missile Staff Officer on the Minuteman Weapons System, Minot AFB, North Dakota.
