WW II veteran pilot flying B-25 strafers with famed 345th Bomb Gp. (“Air Apaches”) in Southwest Pacific. Joined Army Air Corps 1940 – Retired U.S. Air Force – 1964. After WW II was fighter pilot flying P-51’s, F-84’s, F-86’s, F-100’s and F-104’s – in all 5000 flying hours in more than 40 different aircraft. Received 18 decorations including DFC, AM and AFCM. Subsequent to military service was a department director with Comsat Corporation.
