Honored by:
George Edward Gogel served in the USAF from 1940 until 1964 rising from the rank of Private to LtCol. He had wartime service with the 8th Air Force in Great Britain.
He then served with the National Air and Space Administration at the Kennedy Space Center from 1964 until his retirement in 1983. He continues (in 2002) to do volunteer work at Patrick Air Force Base, FL.
