    Entered Army Air Force April 1942. After tests was sent to Navigation training in Coral Gables, Cocoa Beach, Florida. Graduate and commissioned as Navigator in December 1942. Sent to B-24 crew training in January 1943 Phoenix, Arizona - Alamogordo, N. Mexico. After crew training complete assigned to 375 BS 308 BE 14AF. After over 80 trips across the Hump and over 35 combat missions, a bailout over French Indochina and a trip by foot, horses, canal boat, charcoal burning bus and air a return to Base and resumption of duties. After a finish of tour a return to the states. Completion of WWII duty as a Navigation Trainer.
