    Honored by:

    Served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1972. Participated in the Korean Conflict as an F-86 Fighter Pilot. Served as an instructor Pilot and aviation advisor to the Vietnamese Air Force from 1968 to 1969. Awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Bronze Star, The Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement in aerial flight.
    Established and directed special operations flight training of air crew in the AC-119K and AC-130 Gunships.
    Since retirement, has continued interest in promoting aviation as a career and supports expanded space explorations.
