A 1952 Distinguished Graduate AFROTC from Newark College of Engineering, Newark, New Jersey. Received his pilot wings in 1953 and was assigned to the 1371st Mapping and Charting Squadron, 1370th Photo Mapping Wing, flying RB-50 aircraft.
Received his Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Air Weapons) from AFIT in 1962 and was assigned to the Air Force Systems Command B-70 System Program Office progressing to Deputy for test and Deployment.
In 1966 he was reassigned to the joint USN/AF A-7 Program Office as Chief of Engineering for AF A-7D. Served in Vietnam as a FAC and ALC at Nha Trang from 1968-1969.
Assigned to the Pentagon 1969-1973 in DCS RED.
Assigned to AFSC at Andrews AFB in DCS Systems until retirement in 1977.
