Lt Col Rutt as a commercial pilot with over 6,000 hours. As a line check pilot on the Boeing 747-400 for Atlas Air and a Pan American World Airways pilot for 25 years, his total flying time exceeds 21, 000 hours. His sport aviation interests include competition aerobatic flying and skydiving. Since 1976, he has performed as a professional airshow announcer throughout North America.
