Graduated from Aviation Cadet Class 43C, Marianna, FL. Served overseas tour England 1944 with 339th F8ighter Group flying P-51s. Took break in service for college. Graduated Penn State University in 1948. Back on active duty 1953. Served tour in Korea . Also served a tour in Vietnam 1965-1966. Counter insurgency with VNAF Flying A1Hs . Served five years in SAC flying KC-135s. Aircraft Commander.
