    Born May 18, 1921 in Paterson, NJ. Earned pilot's license 1939 and flew continuously through 2003 with commercial and instrument ratings. Owner of several aircraft since 1950 including one currently. Served 1942-1946 US Army Air Forces becoming B-29 pilot. Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering, New York University, 1947. Master of Aerospace Engineering, University of Virginia, 1954.
    Joined National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics in 1947 as Research Engineer at Langley Field, VA. Member of National Aeronautics and Space Administration Space Task Group in 1960 and moved to Houston, TX in 1962 as part of new Manned Spacecraft Center. Contributed to the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo Lunar Module, Space Shuttle, and Space Station programs before retirement in 1981. With wife Lily, established The Aviator Shop in Webster, TX in 1981 which is now owned by their children, Anthony and Carolynn. Member Quiet Birdmen, United Flying Octogenarians, OX-5 Aviation Pioneers, Air Force Association. Resides in retirement in Friendswood, TX.
