LTC Oliver B. Chamberlin, Jr., U.S.A.F. (Ret), passed away. He was a noted Attorney for 49 years, a member of the San Antonio and State Bar, Air Force JAG, 4th Church of Christ, Scientist, Past Grand Patron of Texas, Past Master of Perfect Union No. 10 Lodge, Sons of the American Revolution, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Alzafar Shrine Temple and Legion of Honor. Surviving are his wife, Bobbe Chamberlin; daughters, Bobbe Ann Chamberlin Kerr and husband, David, Martha Catherine Chamberlin Sarvis and husband, Robert John; son, Oliver B. Chamberlin, III and wife Zulema Quintanilla; grandchildren, Andrew Kerr and Robert John Sarvis, Jr. A Memorial Service was held Thursday, August 19, 1999, 3:00 p.m. in Sunset Funeral Chapel, Reader Valjean Newman, leading the service. A reception followed in the Hospitality Suite at Sunset Funeral Home.
