Graduated from Kelly A.F.B., Texas as a "Flying Sergeant"-3 July 1942. Entered training in Multi-Engine Aircraft-9 July 1942. Dropped Paratroopers and Towed Gliders until 4 Dec 1942. Arrived Brisbane, Australia 29 Dec 1942. Moved to Port Moresby, New Guinea 29 Dec 1942 and flew 110 Combat Missions until April 1944. (300 Combat hours) Returned to CONUS and served as Instructor Pilot until August 1945. Break in service and flew for Universal Airlines and Colonial Airlines as an Airline Captain until December 1948. Flew Berlin Airlift (Rheine/Main to Berlin) until April 1950. (132 Missions)
    Flew 62 Combat Missions (166 Combat Hours) in Korea until 5 Feb 1952. Assigned to MATS and flew C-124, C-97 (4 Engine Aircraft) to Egypt, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Japan, and Scotland until 8 Nov 1956. Assigned to Pentagon until 1 May 1960. Base Commander-Samsun, Turkey until August 1961. Assigned to Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell A.F.B., Alabama until June 1962. Assigned to Headquarters, Tactical Air Command, Langley A.F.B., VA. Flew C-130 until retirement on 1 APR 1967. 7459 Flying Hours.
