    STAN JONES

I attended High School in Leonia, New Jersey, and in 1955, at the age of 20, I enlisted in the Air force, where I spent seven years as an Enlisted Airman and twenty-six years as a commissioned officer. As an Enlisted Airman, I held assignments in Germany, Spain, and the U.S.. As an Officer I attended Undergraduate Navigator Training and flew various aircraft in the U.S., Panama, Spain, and Vietnam. I amassed 5000 hours of flight time, including 999 hours of combat flying.

My final years in the Air Force included assignments in Command Posts in Spain, Germany, and the U.S., and a Commander position of a Munitions Support Squadron in Greece. During this time, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Management.

I retired from the Air Force in 1988 and went to work with the Lockheed Martin Aerospace Corporation, four years of which were in their famous "Skunk Works." After leaving Lockheed Martin in 1996, I held part time jobs with the Sacramento Bee Newspaper, the Transportation Security Agency and Pearson Vue corporation. I retired completely in March of 2020.

I am married to Maria del Carmen and we have four children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We currently live in Boca Raton, Florida.
