    Born November 10, 1924. Served 24 years in U.S. Air Force. Flew 30 missions as Radio operator/Gunner in a B-24 over Europe during WW II and over 600 sorties in Vietnam from 1966 through 1969 as pilot of C-130. Logged over 2000 hours as Pilot/Instructor on B-47. Held Air Force ratings: Command Pilot/Instructor, Aircraft Navigator, Aircraft Bombardier, Aircraft Observer, Radio Operator/Gunner, Military Pilot 7000, Civilian Pilot 1000, other rated time 1000. Awards: Distinguished Flying Cross and six Air Medals.
