    Brian graduated from Upper Darby High School – Drexel Hill, PA – 1988. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in Electrical Engineering in 1997. He is a certified CPR instructor; he is a member of the Clifton Heights Lions Club and an associate member of the Clifton Heights Columbus Club.
    He joined the 111th Fighter Group of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard in 1988. He was awarded the Basic Training Honor Graduate Ribbon and the Honor Graduate Ribbon in Advanced Individual Training in Radio Communications. He was also awarded 2 Pennsylvania Air National Guard Commendation Medals. He achieved the Rank of Master Sergeant. In February, 1997, he joined the U.S. Navy and graduated Office Candidate School at NAS Pensacola, FL in May, 1997. He attained an “E” (Excellence Award) for weapons delivery during Flight Training Program. He was certified as an Aircraft Carrier Pilot aboard the USS George Washington on May 19, 1999. Brian was awarded his Wings of Gold at NAS Kingsville, Texas on June 11, 1999 and was assigned to pilot the EA-6B Prowler. He is currently stationed at NAS Whidbey Island, WA. Brian is the son of Alfred and Sherry Rich. The grandson of the late Frank Rich and Adele Rich and Joseph and Dolores Donahue of Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania.
