    LTJG Henry Borysiewicz was born Dec 13, 1920, Necedah, WI.

    Enlisted in Navy Flying Cadet Corps on Dec 1942. Honorable discharged September 1954. Received flight training in Walla Walla, WA in the following aircraft: Piper Cub NC-21864; Fleet NC-71V; Timm N2T-1. Then received primary flight training in the Stearman N2S in Memphis, TN. He then trained at various other Navy air bases in other aircraft including: SNV Vultees at Ellison Field; SNJ North American at Whiting Field; SBD at Saufley Field (all near Pensaacola, FL where he eventually was qualified in the F6F Bearcat).

    He earned his Navy Wings of Gold, was commissioned as an Ensign and was married on March 13, 1945 in Pensacola, FL His two sons have earned civilian pilot licenses.
