LTjg Thomas Noble White was member of the United States Navy and participated in the search for Amelia Earhart.
Following his Navy career, he joined Pan American Airways as one of the early pilots and flew to the Pacific, to Mexico and Central America while stationed in the United States.
For a brief time, he flew out of London to New Delhi, India.
