    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Mark E. Cassen

In the fall of 1943, Madeline A. Cassen (Wheeler) went to work at North American Aviations, Kansas City, KS plant producing the Mitchell B-25. Like so many women of that time, she had no formal training, but learned her job quickly producing tools for the arsenal of democracy that helped win WWII.
Never shirking from her duty, she endured the hardships, and worked there until the end of the war. She later had two sons who both followed the aviation dream. My brother and I know her as Mother.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
