I have been interested in aviation, since I was a young man. I had my room full of airplane models. I enlisted in the USAF soon after I graduated from high school. After I served my four year enlistment, I attended the University of Utah. I received my commission and returned to the USAF. I had my assignment for pilot training, but shortly before university graduation. My eyesight became less than 20/20. I entered navigation training and graduated. I earned my private pilot’s license, while stationed at Castle AFB.
