    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Bill’s interest in flying began early with repeated trips to the Tucson Airport to watch airliners start engines and taxi from the gate. The American Airlines DC-7 and the TWA Constellation were fascinating. The dream of flying took form in USAF ROTC, college graduation (Commissioning), USAF pilot training, and an Air Force pilot Rating. Bill’s flying career included a combat tour in Vietnam, from which he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with five Oak Leaf Clusters.
