Maj. Cady graduated from Bradley University and joined TWA until June
1951 when he joined the USAF and was commissioned in 1952. He served as a pilot in many U.S. bases as well as Okinawa, Philippines and Viet Nam. He established a one-man mark for airdropping supplies in the Viet Nam war at over 1,000,000lbs. Maj. Cady has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Air Medal with eleven clusters, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air force Commendation Medal. Retired June 1971.
