Major Guasco served as the CO Mobility Officer and Airlift Operations Officer for the 62 MHW from June 1985 until retirement in 1988.
Prior to that, he was the Director of Operations at Sondrestrom AB, Major Guasco had previously been the Chief of the Combat Support unit at McChord AFB.
Other assignments included AFROTC, 1975-1979; instructor navigator at UNT, 1971-1975; instructor navigator in C-130s at Clark AB in Philippines from September 1968-march 1971.
Decorations include Distinguished Flying Cross, Meritorious Service Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Air Medal with 6 Oak Leaf Clusters. He currently teaches high school math in Portland, Oregon.
