    Assignments:
    US Army Air Corps: SWPacific: 63 Sq/403 TCGp Jul 1944 to July 1945. Awarded an Air Medal and one Presidential Unit Citation. FEAF Jul 45/Jan46. Promoted to 1st Lt.

    USAF; CONUS: Air Training Command; 1946-1952. Flew TB 25J, B 50, H-13, H-19 and H-23 aircraft.

    Korea: Sept 1953-June 1953. Helicopter Flight, 581st Air Resupply and Communications Wing. I was one of six pilots who pioneered the use of Helicopters (H-19) in the support of Covert and Clandestine activities. We augmented Air Rescue. Rescued a Marine Pilot in what was the deepest penetration into North Korea since the conflict stabilized. I also designed a Flame Dampner for the H-19.1 was awarded one Silver Star, a Distinguished Flying Cross, 3 Clusters to my Air Medal and one Presidential Unit Citation. Promoted to Captain. CONUS: Provided COMSEC training for ANG and AFR units, in Arkansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Master Planning for Muskogee Air Reserve Base. Airways & ACS: OIC for Maintenance for DC A Communications, and Enroute and Precision Air Traffic Control. Remote Site Commander. Promoted to Major.

    US Civil Service, GS-13: Electronic Systems Command/ 480 L SPO. Assisted in establishing Research Development and Operational Requirements for Switched Networks for AWACS, AUTOVON, AUTOSEVOCOM and AUTODIN; Command and Control requirements for NORAD, STRAT CMD, and BMEWS. Assistant Manager, Project "Bamboo Tree". US Army Communications Command: Provided direct communications support for USSOUTHCOM for WWMCCS, LAMCS, OSA and for Central and South American requirements.
