    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mrs. F. N. Lowe

From the time he was a boy in Oakland, CA and watched planes soar over the San Francisco Bay area, Frank knew he wanted to fly. He pursued his dream through the USAF ROTC program at the University of California in Berkeley, CA gaining a slot in the pilot training class of 1959 at Moore Air Base, Mission, TX. A back injury prior to graduation ended his dream of military flying, but not his love of planes.

Over the course of his 21-year career as a USAF officer, he continued to fly privately all over the world. A heart problem grounded Frank in 1993, but he continues to love aviation.

Not by chance does he live and work at Wright-Paterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio -- home of the Wright brothers, the "Fathers of Powered Flight."
