Major Chizmadia flew 235 missions in Southeast Asia, with 20 into North Vietnam. He has flown over 5,000 hours. He currently flies person T-6 at air shows, parades, and civic activities to preserve aviation history. Major Chizmadia has been active in Civil Air Patrol search and rescue operations for over 40 years.
