    Honored by:

Joe Noah served in the US Merchant Marines and the US Marine Corps
    during WW II.
He served in the USAF during the Korean War. After resigning his commission in 1958,he continued to fly his Piper Comanche on business and for pleasure. Joe probably holds the record for gear-up landings in his Comanche, N9243P. He did it twice, once at age 66, the second time at age 73. Joe's flying career spans 58 years having soloed at age 16 in a Piper J-3 Cub, and he still flies as of this writing.
Joe's primary claim to fame is that he is a first cousin to Major George E. Preddy, Jr., our top Mustang ace. Joe has authored two biographies on Preddy: Wings God Gave My Soul; and George Preddy - Top Mustang
    Ace.
Joe Noah established the Preddy Memorial Foundation in 1993.
