    Honored by:

First flew August 1942 as student pilot and began airplane mechanics training. Flew as a Civil Air Patrol Cadet during WWII. Volunteered for Army Air Corps Cadet Program September 1944. Took pre-aviation Cadet training at Keesler Field Mississippi in preparation for flight training at Tuskegee Army Airfield. The war nearly over, pilot training terminated. Flew as mechanic crew member on B-25s and other aircraft until discharged October 1946.
Love of flying led to becoming a flight instructor. I am currently an active pilot. As a member of the Tuskegee Airmen, I encourage youth to become involved in aviation.
