    Became aviation cadet December 1942, 2nd LT Bombardier (Kirkland AFB) in July 1943, Instructor 1943 to early 1944, Navigator School at Selman Field, assigned to 8th Air Force, April 1944, 93rd Bomb Group (H), 328th Bomb Squadron (H).
    Flew 31 missions (one extra) against Germany and other European countries, assigned as instructor at Mountain Home AFB until end of the war.
    In September 1945, resumed education at Penn State University (B.A. degree).
    Remained in reserves and PA Air National Guard until recalled for Korean War. At the end of the war, I remained in the reserves; separated 1964.
