Paul Eckhart served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years from 1970 to 1990. Rated as a Navigator, he flew as a Weapon System Officer in the McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom II. He accumulated over 2000 hours of flight time. He served in Japan, Spain, Germany, and many temporary locations. He was also a Flight officer in a NORAD Air Division and the Chief of Red Forces for the Nellis AFB range complex.
