    Entered the US Army Air Corps as an Aviation Student/Cadet January 30, 1943. Graduated at Moody AAF Base, GA as a pilot and commissioned a Second Lieutenant on June 27, 1944. Served in WW II as a B-25 pilot with the 345th Bomb Group. During the period September, 1944 to May, 1945, I flew as low level attack missions in the Southwest Pacific Area. After the war, I served in various USAF command and operational assignments including Okinawa, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. I acquired over 5000 hours flying various military single, twin, and four engine aircraft. I was awarded the DFC for a B-25 low level mission against the Japanese shipping in Ormoc, PI on November 8, 1949. I retired from the USAF at Hill AFB, SD on December 1, 1963.
    Since retirement from the USAF, I have been engaged in the Regional Airline industry. I served in various executive positions, culminating in the ownership of Crown Airways, operating in Northeast US, which I sold in April, 1994 and retired once again
