Flew 33 missions over Europe 1943 – 1945. Lead navigator of 1st Division, 8th Air Force on 800 B-17 mission in the first attempt to bomb Berlin.
Awarded 3 OFCs, 6 Air Medals, and 2 Presidential Citations.
After combat, assigned to Harvard Graduate School of Business for training in statistical analysis. Was Head of Presentation Section HQs AAF under General Arnold at the Pentagon.
Wrote and produced film The AAF Comes of Age on General Arnold’s orders.
