B-17 Command Pilot, 8th Air Force, 381st Bomb Group, 533rd Squadron, Ridgewell Air Base, England. Flew 25 missions with original crew minus KIAs & injured June to January 1943. Plane named after 2 1/2 year old daughter, Linda Mary. Plane shot down over Berlin in May of 1944.
