    I am currently the Assistant Director of Aerospace Education for External Programs for the Texas Wing of the Civil Air Patrol-Air Force Auxiliary. I have also served as the Aerospace Education Officer for the Nighthawk Composite Squadron (SWR-TX-13) in Denton, TX since 2005. I am also currently an Aerospace & Science Coordinator and Administrator for ERA ISD located in North Texas. The district recently selected as the recipient of the 2013 Frank Brewer Memorial Aerospace Award for an Organization having performed a noteworthy achievement and contribution to the field of aerospace. As an educator I have taught engineering and science classes having been a certified educator for the last eighteen years. I currently teach classes in Earth & Space Science, Engineering, and Astrobiology. I have been involved with various NASA Education Training Programs for the last twelve years. My NASA Texas Space Grant Consortium high school student team participated in a "Classroom in Space Program" that sent an experiment to the International Space Station in 2008. I also led a student engineering team that was selected by NASA to redesign Christa McAulliffe's Lost Challenger Experiment "Magnetic Chamber Lesson "and I tested the experiment as a payload specialist on a NASA Reduced Gravity Flight with a team of NASA Texas Space Grant Educators. I completed CAP-USAF Auxiliary National Aerospace Officer School at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, FL in 2006 & 2007. I am currently an associate member of Astronauts 4 Hire. I am also currently a Sub-Orbital Researchers Group Ambassador conducting educational information presentations for the Commercial Spaceflight Federation. I have a Bachelors, Master of Education, and Master of Science from the University of North Texas. I have a Science Education & Engineering Certificate in Graduate Studies from Texas A&M. I completed my Remote Sensing and Mars Desert Educational Training at Arizona State in 2006. I was selected as the CAP Aerospace Education Teacher of the Year for the Texas Wing in 2012. I was the recipient of the Southwest Region Major General Jeanne M. Holmes Award as the 2012 Aerospace Officer of the Year, and the Frank Brewer Memorial Aerospace Award for the Texas Wing in 2009.

    My wife's name is Monica and we have two sons, Madison and Merrick. I was born in Gainesville, TX. I currently reside in Lindsay, Texas.
