My father was an immigrant’s son who was taught to honor and respect his country. In the late 1940’s he enlisted in the Army. The Army Air Corp soon became the USAF. Two decades of military service culminating as radar navigator for SAC (Strategic Air Command), he never lost his father’s love for his country. It was aviation that allowed him to give back to the country that gave him so much.
